Benning Supports Camp Kudzu’s Annual Clay Tournament

Benning was proud to sponsor Camp Kudzu’s Shoot Down Type 1 Diabetes event, their 4th Annual Sporting Clays Tournament, which raises funds to provide resources, support, and life-changing experiences for children and families impacted by Type 1 diabetes. Representing Benning at the event were Brittney Humes, Ashley Young, Jessica Coleman, and Clinton Wolff. For Ashley, Camp Kudzu’s mission is especially meaningful, as her family has experienced firsthand the incredible support the organization provides throughout her daughter’s Type 1 diabetes journey. She said, “Camp Kudzu gave us a sense of hope, understanding, and the comfort of knowing we weren’t alone. It reminded me that my girl can do anything, even with T1D.” Thank you to everyone who participated and represented Benning, and a special thank you to the Camp Kudzu team for the important work you do in supporting children and families across our community.
