The Epps Bridge Center was built in Oconee County, GA by Benning Construction and included all site work, buildings, and several tenant upfits.
The site consisted of 72 acres, 68 of which were disturbed, with the balance being wetlands areas that had to be protected. The site work encompassed a variety of construction types, means and methods including, but not limited to, rock blasting, rock removal, over a mile of french drain systems, nearly a million cubic yards of cut/fill, thousands of square feet of retaining walls including soils nails, gabion basket, and modular walls, traffic signalization, multiple asphalt paving specifications, and more.
Buildings included 340,000 square feet of retail space and a 60,000 square foot,16 screen movie theater. A combination of retail shells and upfits were built for multiple national retailers including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Best Buy, Ross, Marshalls, Off Broadway, Party City, Pet Smart, Lane Bryant, Banana Republic, Gap, Old Navy, Guitar Center, Pier 1, Five Below, and Ulta.
