Benning Earns Dual Build Georgia Awards from AGC

AGC Georgia Names Ryce Elliott to Board of Directors as Treasurer

Benning was proud to attend the fifth annual Auburn Building Science Clay Shoot Tournament this week. It was a great day of connection, camaraderie, and friendly competition in support of the Building Science program. Those in attendance were Clinton Wolff, Charlie Lively, and Caleb McQuaig with Southern Painting, along with Jill Cleghorn.

Benning Construction is proud to celebrate Michael House and John Barry, recipients of the 2026 Ron Amerson Supervisor Safety Excellence Award. To mark the achievement, they headed to Garland Mountain for a friendly clay shooting competition, joined by Stuart Webb and Carl Erickson —bringing together safety, teamwork, and a little competition outside the jobsite. Great job, Mike and John!

To kick off Women in Construction Week, the women of Benning Construction celebrated by putting their teamwork to the test at The Escape Game Atlanta — followed by a well-deserved lunch together! From cracking clues to sharing laughs, it was the perfect way to celebrate the incredible women who help build our success every day.

Hosted by the AGC, we had the opportunity to sponsor and participate in the Kennesaw State University Department of Construction Management Sporting Clays Fundraiser. Benji Smith, Jessica Coleman, Clinton Wolff, and Mike House represented Benning—connecting with fellow construction professionals while supporting the next generation of builders.

Benning attended the PFIFC Convention in Frisco, Texas! We were proud to have Rani Ghawi, John Buckley, and David Pitts represent Benning Construction at the PFIFC Franchisee Convention in Frisco, Texas. Great conversations, new connections, and valuable industry insights all around!

Benning was proud to sponsor and participate in AGC’s YLP Golf Classic Tournament. We hosted a tent at the event, where our team was well represented by Jessica Coleman, Jill Cleghorn, and Sarah Glaze. On the course, Benning team members Garrett Crick, Tyler Chastain, Trace Patterson, Alden Brooks, Stuart Webb, Mike House, Carl Erickson, and Steven Cowart took part in the tournament. It was a great day of networking, teamwork, and supporting the industry—we’re glad to have been part of such a fantastic event!

We were proud to host Benning’s first-ever Subcontractor Appreciation Day! It was a great opportunity to welcome and celebrate the trade partners and vendors who play such an important role in our success. From BBQ and live music to raffle prizes and great conversations, the day was filled with appreciation, partnership, and community. We’re grateful for the incredible turnout and already looking forward to making this an annual tradition.
